How to unlock the 6th builder (B.O.B.)

B.O.B. becomes an extra builder in your Home Village once B.O.B Control on the Builder Base is fully upgraded. Here is everything it asks for, what the gear-ups cost and an order that works.

The seven requirements

Three gear-ups in the Home Village and three goals on the Builder Base: a troop, a defence and the heroes. B.O.B Control is the seventh. It collects the other six one level at a time, in a fixed order: the gear-ups for level 2, the troop for level 3, the defence for level 4 and the heroes for level 5. You can work on all of them at once.

All seven together need Town Hall 10 and Builder Hall 9.

Three gear-ups in the Home Village

A gear-up needs the defence at home and a matching Builder Base building at the levels below. You pay in Home Village Gold, but the Master Builder does the work, so a running gear-up occupies one of your Builder Base builders until it is done.

Troop, defence and heroes

Any troop at level 18 counts, and so does any defence at level 9, including one that is already there. Walls and traps are not defences here. Level 18 needs the Star Laboratory at level 9, and the lab works alongside your builders, so keep it busy from the start.

The Battle Machine and the Battle Copter need 45 levels between them. The Battle Machine alone cannot get there, so the Battle Copter’s altar is part of the plan. Which split takes the least time depends on the levels you have; the tracker works it out for your village.

An order that works

The 6th builder plan in the tracker follows this order. Before each Builder Base step, it raises the Builder Hall when a level needs it, a storage when a cost does not fit, and the Clock Tower when the boost wins back its build time before B.O.B. arrives.

  1. Gear up the defences whose Builder Base building is already high enough.
  2. Take a troop to level 18, each level behind the Builder Barracks and Star Laboratory levels it waits for. The Builder Hall levels the Star Laboratory needs come early, so it stays busy.
  3. Take a defence to level 9.
  4. Upgrade the Battle Machine and the Battle Copter. Without a Battle Copter, build its altar first.
  5. Finish the other gear-ups: the Builder Base building first, then the defence at home.
  6. Upgrade B.O.B Control to level 5.

Check your own village

ClashClock checks all seven requirements against your village, running gear-ups included, and turns this order into a schedule. The troop is your pick, the Baby Dragon by default; tap its row to choose another. If the export cannot show that a gear-up is finished, tick it off by hand on its row.

  1. Import your village export in the tracker.
  2. Switch to the Builder Base and open Plan.
  3. Pick the 6th builder strategy. The checklist shows what is done, the schedule what to start next.

Your own path to B.O.B.

ClashClock lays out the path to the 6th builder for your own Builder Base, with your running timers and the hours you are offline. It is free, needs no account and runs in the browser.
